How many weddings do you photograph a year? How many have you photographed over all? I’ve stopped counting but I’m pretty should I’m past the 1,000 weddings point (lol watch me go count and not even be close). - I’ve gone back-and-forth with how many weddings I photograph per year. When I first started out I photographed around 40 weddings per year, and I think I hit the 50 weddings at one point, but now I will not photograph more than 20, with the exception of the last two years when we were playing Covid catch up. I know anything over 20 hurts my creativity and everyone suffers, including my clients. - That’s one of the reasons that I have an associate team of photographers, most that have been with me for over a decade, that emulate my style and client experience the day of - and see love how I see it. I still am not one of those studios that will collectively do 100 weddings per year, that’s just too much for the boutique experience that I want to create, but with my associate team, we can take up to 40 weddings per year. - Would love to hear everyone else’s numbers, and reasoning for limiting or not limiting their wedding intake! - #weddingphotography #njwedding #atxwedding #nycwedding
