Heartbreaking Loss of a Beloved Husband

I just assume all of my couples live happily ever after. Today I was faced with the reality of that not being true. Ryan Ann and Eric have known each other since this Kindergarten classroom where we photographed their engagement photos 10 years ago. Both @robadamsfilms and I captured their wedding at @naninasinthepark shortly afterwards, Nov 5, 2011 and I can still remember feeling like part of the family the entire day. Both Ryan Ann and Eric were some of the nicest people we have ever photographed and their love was certainly fairytale-like. But today we learned that Eric is no longer with us. His young son Joey and beautiful wife can’t be anything short of devastated over their loss, and Rob and I are shocked. Eric was only 38. Please help me in giving them your thoughts and prayers, but also easing their mind about their future. I have their @gofundme linked in my stories that’s dedicated to Joey’s future and college. I know happily ever afters don’t come for everyone, but they shouldn’t be stolen like this. 😔
