Vanessa Joy
A young woman with long dark hair styled in a messy bun stands confidently in the middle of a city street, arms outstretched. She is wearing a white tank top, a denim jacket, and a burgundy latex skirt. Her shoes are tan ankle boots with straps and chunky heels. The woman has a carefree, joyful expression on her face as she poses in the sunlight, surrounded by cars parked on the street and buildings in the background. A parking sign is visible, indicating this is a lively urban area.

Embracing the Creative's Quirky Spirit

“All creatives are a little crazy.” My friend @lastxwitness said that to me once (he prob doesn’t remember it), and it stuck with me. I’ve always tried to hide my little bit of crazy but I think that’s actually a complement to my character now and not a detriment. To dream, to envision, to imagine and to create you have to be a little crazy. You have to see the magic that’s not there and bring it into existence. You need to be able to look at what is sometimes mundane and stretch it to be beautifully unique. To see what is normal, and decide to fuss it up a little. I’d like to think I’m the right type of crazy. Maybe crazy enough to jump in a @sebastiancauchos latex skirt in 90 degree heat (um... let’s just say that wasn’t cute afterwards). Crazy enough to have a @semisonicband Secret Smile about it while letting my @jamesblunt Bonfire Heart over-love everyone around me so I can capture everything with my whole heart and still be @Lizzobeeating ’s 100% that bitch while being a @Skynyrd Free Bird the entire time. Hey, my dad was a musician - lol so I have that #blackbetty kind of crazy in there too. - #LoveYourCrazy - - photo by @ninogallego - makeup @makemeup_eva
