A formally dressed couple is standing in an ornate church entrance, with intricate wooden doors and carved stone surroundings. The woman is wearing a flowing white wedding gown with a strapless bodice, and the man is clad in a classic black tuxedo with a boutonniere. They are holding hands, facing opposite directions, their bodies forming a gentle curve. The image is in black and white, lending a timeless quality to the scene. Despite not seeing each other's faces, the intimate gesture of joined hands conveys a deep connection between the couple as they prepare to unite in marriage.

Couple's Intimate Pre-Wedding Prayer

A little story behind this image: Amy and David wanted an image of themselves before their ceremony praying. They didn't want to see each other, just hold hands, pray and then meet each other at the altar; as tradition would have it. Myself, my hubby @robadamsfilms and our amazing crew planned it out strategically to make sure these two did not see each other and still be able to hold hands while we got this shot as they prayed together before their ceremony, uninterrupted off to the side of the church. It was an amazing moment, tears were shed, chills were felt and I'm pretty sure we were tearing up, too. This black and white image will always be one of my favorites. . . . . .
