Hint: It’s MUCH cheaper than you’d think! Total at the end ✈️ We did this Italian adventure in April. A great time to travel when prices are low, the weather is nice and crowds are low. I have a two part blog post on our website with ALL the details of this trip. Key things to note are book your train to Rome ahead of time to get a much better price than we did. We got a taxi between Naples and Amalfi as there were 5 of us and we were tired 😅 But it would be much cheaper to get the train to Sorrento for £5 and then the bus to Amalfi for around the same price. Can you get away for cheap in the half term?! Yes you can 🤩 DIY booking is pretty much always cheaper than package bookings for the school holiday periods. Booking your flights and hotels separately can save you a lot of money and gives you the flexibility to choose to be away for 5 or 6 nights instead of the typical 7 or 10 nights. It’s easier han you think to travel with just rucksacks which save you tons on checked luggage. We have lots of content on this.
