The Travel Mum
A serene and picturesque scene captures a woman holding a baby, standing on a balcony overlooking the breathtaking village of Santorini, Greece. The iconic whitewashed buildings with blue-domed roofs cascade down the cliffside towards the sparkling Aegean Sea. A small boat floats on the calm waters, adding a touch of tranquility to the already idyllic setting. The woman, wearing a floral dress, gazes lovingly at the infant cradled in her arms, creating a heartwarming moment of maternal bond against the backdrop of one of the world's most romantic destinations.

Even though Santorini is famous for being a romantic, honeymoon type destination - we didnโ€™t want Leo to miss out on all the fun. โ€ข ๐•‹๐• ๐•ก ๐•ฅ๐•š๐•ก๐•ค: โ€ข ๐Ÿ™- A pram isnโ€™t that useful, a harness is much more practical with all the steps and cobbled ground. โ€ข ๐Ÿš- Leave the car seat at home. Not the most sensible advise but we havenโ€™t used ours once, and itโ€™s such a big heavy thing to carry around (unless youโ€™re renting a car in which case we would have used it). Weโ€™ve compromised by wearing a seat belt then strapping him onto us in his harness. Iโ€™m not sure how safe this is but it seems like the only option on public transport. โ€ข ๐Ÿ›- Book hotels with a nice balcony/view and a TV - Netflix and chill (Amazon fire stick) or a bottle of wine outside the room have been the mainstay of our evenings while Leo sleeps inside. โ€ข ๐Ÿœ- Most hotels havenโ€™t had a cot bed for the baby. We bought a small pop up bed on amazon for ยฃ20. Weโ€™ve had him in that as a safe place to sleep, or you could just co-sleep if you are used to that. โ€ข ๐Ÿ- Nappies and Baby formula are extortionately priced here - bring your own if you can fit them in your luggage.
