Traveling with Baby in Santorini

𝕊𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕚 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕒 𝕓𝕒𝕓𝕪. Even though Santorini is famous for being a romantic, honeymoon type destination - we didn’t want Leo to miss out on all the fun. • 𝕋𝕠𝕡 𝕥𝕚𝕡𝕤: • 𝟙- A pram isn’t that useful, a harness is much more practical with all the steps and cobbled ground. • 𝟚- Leave the car seat at home. Not the most sensible advise but we haven’t used ours once, and it’s such a big heavy thing to carry around (unless you’re renting a car in which case we would have used it). We’ve compromised by wearing a seat belt then strapping him onto us in his harness. I’m not sure how safe this is but it seems like the only option on public transport. • 𝟛- Book hotels with a nice balcony/view and a TV - Netflix and chill (Amazon fire stick) or a bottle of wine outside the room have been the mainstay of our evenings while Leo sleeps inside. • 𝟜- Most hotels haven’t had a cot bed for the baby. We bought a small pop up bed on amazon for £20. We’ve had him in that as a safe place to sleep, or you could just co-sleep if you are used to that. • 𝟝- Nappies and Baby formula are extortionately priced here - bring your own if you can fit them in your luggage.
