Taking Our Son to the Festival

✨ Day two was a good one 🤩 If you read the caption from day one, you know we had an issue with getting Leo to the festival. Given we had coach tickets (meaning we had to use the coach for our return trip from Sheffield) - we had no way of getting Leo to the festival with us. The day before leaving we had a last minute heartbreak at the fact he would miss all the fun, and we decided we would ask my parents if you could drive him down on Thursday (it’s over 3 hours in the car), and we would pay for them to stay in a nice hotel in Glastonbury for two nights - then they could take him home on the Saturday morning - and they VERY kindly agreed! There is a free shuttle bus running from the festival to the bath and west show ground 24/7 - so we hopped on the bus and collected him from there on Thursday morning. This saved my parents driving into the traffic chaos around the site. Having Leo there was definitely worth the effort and expense - he never stopped smiling the whole time he was with us 🤩 It’s really funny to see people say “you’re so selfish for taking him” - mate, the EFFORT we went to in order to see that little smile on his face 😅✨
