Sunset Over Coconut Island

• We had pre paid a decent amount of money for the villa in the previous pics, as a treat for the end of our family trip - on arriving in Phuket late in the afternoon (after a long day of travelling..) we were told that “unfortunately” our villa wasn’t available for the first night as there’d ‘been an accident’ (we had paid around £300 just for that first night....) and we were being shipped off to a “luxury resort” on ‘coconut island’ as compensation (without any offer of a refund or alternative...) - I was initially quite excited to see this fabulous sounding place and reek in the benefits of this f*#k up - you really couldn’t write the following events but essentially around TWO hours of travelling later we arrived on this island. Without being too biased, it was exactly like any other generic “luxury” resort, with its water aerobics and beach yoga, but without the free food and alcohol.... We had an expensive meal and went to bed, up early ready to head back to Phuket to the place we had actually paid for..!
