The Travel Mum
A breathtaking coastal landscape with towering limestone cliffs and a secluded beach. The scene features a large rock formation jutting out from the turquoise waters, creating a natural archway. The beach is pristine and sandy, with a few people strolling along its shores. The cliffs are rugged and verdant, with patches of vegetation clinging to the rocky surfaces. The sky is overcast, with dramatic clouds adding to the moody atmosphere. This remote and unspoiled location exudes a sense of natural beauty and serenity.

Secluded Suwehan Beach, Nusa Penida

• Suwehan Beach on Nusa Penida - one of the furthest places on the whole island you could wish to visit! Because it’s so far away from the more famous spots on Penida, none of the day trips from Bali go there, and even those who make it all the way to the east coast tend to just visit Atuh beach and the more famous tree houses (where we stayed - pics to come 😍). There’s a LOT of stairs to get down to this beach, so take some water! As it’s a bit of a mission to get there, you’ll likely have the place to yourself as we did! Make sure you check the tide times before you visit as there’s not much of a beach there at high tide 🌊 • • The famous ‘Atuh Beach’ is around an hour and a half scooter ride from the main harbour. There’s a pretty good road along the north coast that makes it a comfortable journey until the last half an hour. If you’re going to travel all the way to the east coast I’d HIGHLY recommend the extra 50 minute scooter ride to visit here 👌🏻 Make sure you download Penida as an “offline map” on google, we used google maps to get everywhere during our week here and it never let us down. • • • • #nusalembongan #nusabali #nusapenida #nusaceningan #bali #girlslovetravel #beachlife🌴
