The image captures a breathtaking panoramic view of the Santorini caldera, a stunning natural wonder formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. In the foreground, a couple is seen embracing and sharing a romantic moment in a private infinity pool overlooking the caldera's mesmerizing turquoise waters. The pool's white marble edges blend seamlessly with the traditional Cycladic architecture of the hotel or villa they are staying in. Flanking the pool are potted palm trees, adding a touch of tropical luxury to the scene. The caldera's rugged, volcanic cliffs rise majestically in the distance, their earthy hues contrasting beautifully with the azure sea and sky. The serene, tranquil atmosphere invites one to bask in the natural beauty and tranquility of this iconic Greek island destination.

Romantic Santorini Caldera Views from Luxury Hotel Pool

» Imerovigli is a quiet town in Santorini, in between the capital of ‘Thira’ and the famous Oía. Its about a half an hour walk from Thira (an hour if you have a baby / pram / luggage and you set off in the mid day heat 🥵) We stayed here for a few days in two different hotels - the first was @cocoonsuites (I’ll post the second place in a day or so), Cocoon offers suites with private pools overlooking the Caldera. It was a tick on my ever growing bucket list to stay in a place like this ✅ , but it didn’t really fit with the budget trip we set out on! Rooms overlooking the caldera can set you back €1000 + per night in high season, this room was a more affordable middle ground that didn’t disappoint. I’d highly recommend Cocoon to anyone visiting Santorini, for the breakfast if nothing else!
