Pack Light to Travel Cheap

HOW TO PACK LIGHT AND SAVE MONEY I’m not exaggerating when I say that learning to pack light will save you thousands of pounds over the years. Budget airline flight prices seem a bargain, until you start adding on checked baggage. But who actually needs 20kg of stuff for a holiday?! I promise you don’t. We discuss this more on the website at: Www.thetravelmum.com/post/how-to-pack-light-and-save-money 1) Understand your baggage allowance - The most basic flight ticket allows you to bring a “personal item” on board - I have travelled with only this many a time, it can be done, and it saves you a lot of money. 2) Realise you can wear things twice, and wash clothes while you are away. You don’t need a new outfit for every day. 3) Packing cubes are invaluable when travelling with a carry on suitcase - they allow you to use every last cm of space and help organise your case. Do you always need to check in luggage when you travel? Think you might try cutting down? Let us know :)
