I didn’t realise how shocked people would be when I first told them about the plans I had once my baby was born. I still planned to travel, I was still going to Glastonbury festival (I’ll do a separate post on this, it was amazing!) - I was still going to do all the things I love, but share them with my son.
Flying with a baby is something we have become experts in over the last couple of years. With a few tips and tricks you can make it bearable, and dare I say it, even enjoyable 😅

1) Book flights at nap time/ bed time to increase the chances that they will sleep the whole way.
2) Take your pram to the gate to make use of it in the airport. Then once it is checked in, use a baby carrier / sling for safely carrying baby onto the plane.
3) Make sure you have something for them to suck on during Take off and landing so they can equalise their ears. Think bottles/milk/dummy/a finger?! Whatever works! Most babies get upset due to pain in their little ears.
