Cinque Terre is a beautiful coastal region in north western Italy. Translated to Five Lands, it is made up of five towns - Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The quickest and best value way to explore all five towns is to buy a Cinque Terre express card, currently priced at €18.20, it allows you to use the trains all day plus access the walking trails. Alternatively single train tickets are €5. We visited here after playing @Skyscanner roulette and finding the cheapest flights to Genoa!
