The Porch Boise

The Porch Changed My Life

I started going to The Porch midway through my sophomore year of college, at a time in my life where I was living the majority of it for myself while trying my best to fit God into it. • Through the ministry at The Porch, God encouraged me to finally go all in and give my life over to anything that He wanted to do with it. God grew me like crazy while resetting my priorities around Him, in return completely changing the way that I live. The Porch gave me a community of encouragement, as well as a place which Good used to bring me together with two of my teammates, Anna and Ashley, who quickly became my close friends. We watched God start moving in and around our lives and our team, and while our little prayer circle before games kept growing, so did our mob from downtown to The Porch at Rockharbor on Tuesday nights. • This mob also became a weekly small group where we continue to encourage and push each other to grow in our relationships with God, sharing our walks with Christ and taking every day as a chance to truly embody Him and pursue the plans that he has for us. • The Porch was the place that I began going to for a little love and truth in my life, which God used to bring me to a new life that I love with Him at the center of it, and some incredible people to do this life with. - Grace
