Videographer Back in Guatemala for Nonprofit Work

What a day! Eileen is hosting a newborn photography workshop at our studio today with the super amazing #JuliaKelleher, then working ImagingUSA the rest of the week back home in Atlanta. (Be sure to catch up with her if you're there! We both love meeting all of you in the BlumeEDU and this Instagram community!) Simultaneously (and finally, 4 years after our documentary film "Lost Boys of Paradise" debuted) I have landed back in Guatemala to work again with our favorite non-profit, Engadi, in the slums of Guatemala City. It's so good to be back, and surreal to see how far this amazing organization had come as we continue to go to battle for the children of Zone 18. I can't say enough how important and life-altering their work is! My one regret is the poor timing! I had my ticket, and we of course had our plans for Imaging. I wanted so badly to be there when 17 of you amazing photographers came from across the country to workshop in our home and studio, too! I wanted to be there to support @eileen_blume who I know did an amazing job alongside Julia Kelleher for this epic event. I'm sorry I can't be there. But I know without a doubt that the unique opportunity I had to help Engadi this week was meant to be. And Eileen and I want to remain faithful to "focus on what matters most," in both our business and our life. You all matter! I pray you will find the courage to focus on what matters most this year, too, even when fear or doubt creep in. Make the most of #ImagingUSA!
