The Blumes
The image features a striking visual design with the text 'KEVIN KUBOTA'S PHOTOGRAPHERS IGNITE AT WPPI' prominently displayed at the top in a stylized font against a fiery red background. Below, there is a collection of names and phrases arranged in a word cloud format, including names of individuals such as Bambi Cantrell, Elle Danielle, Tyrus Sturgis, Drexelle Park, Taylor Jackson, Lori Nordstrom, Jessica Lark, Julieta Schwartzman, and Matt Kennedy. Interspersed among the names are descriptive words like 'uplifting,' 'motivating,' 'emotional,' 'quirky,' 'entertaining,' 'scintillating,' 'imagination,' and 'Motus,' which seem to describe the nature and themes of the event. The design has a dynamic and energetic feel, with varying font sizes and styles creating a visually engaging composition.

Selected to Speak at Photographers Ignite 2015

OK, guys. The next big reveal is here... We're literally dizzy from the calls, speaking invitations, and exciting bits of news we've received this week! We already shared the unbelievable opportunity we've been given to teach multiple classes at #WPPI2015 in Las Vegas. We get a thrill from teaching and helping #photographers succeed anywhere.. but on one of the world's biggest stages?! C'mon! Who could ask for more than that? But then... ..They say lighting never strikes twice. Well, gimme some sunglasses and call me toasty, 'cause THIS just happened! Photographer's Ignite has just announced its speaker lineup for 2015, and guess who's among them! I couldn't believe my eyes: there among the names of truly great photographers, my name. (What's going on here?!) If you don't know #PhotographersIgnite, it's basically a mini TED Talk providing cutting-edge and inspirational ideas for visual artists. Just 12 speakers each year, and broadcast for the world to see. That means we get to share it with you all, too, which makes us so happy. :) You may remember, Eileen and I actually flew out to #Seattle a couple years ago when we were invited to speak at Photographers Ignite for the first time. It was so nerve-racking, but a fantastic experience. (Here's the video flashback to that exciting moment if you haven't seen it: http://photographersignite.com/projects/phillip-and-eileen-blume/) I think being on the CreativeLive set and surviving that LIVE world-wide broadcast taught us a lot about "sucking it up" and engaging people through public speaking. It's always tough, but so worth the effort. We've loved the feedback and stories we've heard as a result, meeting amazing people we never would have had the privilege of knowing otherwise. And now we get to do it again! Thanks for sharing the excitement with us. We greatly appreciate everyone's love and prayers as we make 2015 the year of investing in others through education. What a blessing!
