Remembering Lola Liling - A Grandmother's Legacy

Lola Liling (my/@eileen_blume’s dad’s mom) passed away peacefully to her heavenly home with Jesus this past Sunday on February 2, 2020. She was surrounded by her children (pictured) and their families during the last few days—which is exactly what she wanted...to be surrounded by loved ones at home when the time came. She had a lot of spunk for a grandma and an infectious laugh that evoked laughter in everyone else within earshot. This past weekend I was reminded by the incredible legacy she is leaving, which was evident as I looked around the room at all of my family present. Her wish for us, in her words, was to “get along, care for each other stand up for each other, avoid gossip, be there for each other, and help each other.” Love you always, Lola Liling! ❤️
