The Blumes
The image depicts a grandiose and ornate indoor architectural space, with two arched doorways on either side leading to staircases ascending upwards. The central arch is larger and more prominent, allowing a glimpse of natural light filtering in from the outside. The intricate design of the arched ceilings, with their detailed carvings and moldings, exudes a sense of grandeur and historical significance. Two figures, a woman in a flowing dress and a young boy, stand in the central area, adding a touch of human presence and scale to the majestic surroundings. Their positioning suggests a moment of pause or contemplation amidst the awe-inspiring architectural splendor.

NYC Engagement Session

Throwback to a #NewYorkCity engagement session I still think back on very fondly! We explored every corner of the city with this terrific couple, Virginia and James, who met in #NYC and live in #DC but had a Southern-style #destinationwedding in our neck of the woods. We shot in #CentralPark (shown here), on the #Brooklynbridge, #TimesSquare, and lesser known more personal spots, like the rooftop garden at a friend's apartment building. In the evening, we explored markets with them and ate the freshest seafood at a market/restaurant near the #FlatIronBuilding. (What is that market called? Anybody?) We also tried our first #ShakeShack burgers and are thrilled they might open one in #Atlanta now! Anyway, every photo like this holds so many stories behind it. Part of the reason we love what we do. :)
