Newlyweds Share Intimate Moment on Rustic Bridge
Is it cliche for wedding photographers to say “We love our couples!?” Maybe. But we do! Our couples are the only reason we still accept 15-20 weddings each year — even though we have our fingers in so many other pies now… from education to studio and commercial work, to chauffeuring our own kids to their activities!…⠀
.⠀
But we believe we all need PURPOSE in our work to avoid burnout. And we believe in marriage: that it’s always more challenging than couples expect and yet always worth fighting for. @eileen_blume and I have just 10 years of marriage under our belts. But we’ve learned a lot, and we love to invest in younger couples. Sometimes in small ways. A spontaneous letter, a meaningful gift, a conversation over dinner. In an age of digital “friendship,” we notice how much people crave deeper relationships!⠀
.⠀
We’ve had a #BlumeCouple make us godparents to their firstborn, received invitations to anniversary parties, and shared tearful long-distance conversations with couples in hard times. It’s not a clear business choice; it takes a toll on our time and emotions. But it’s what matters to us!⠀
.⠀
What matters to you? Let that guide how you shape your own business and work. You are in control! Go your own way, and don’t let anyone tell you what you “should” be doing. Focus on what matters most.⠀
.⠀
Celebrating life’s happy moments is not our only passion. Our mission is twofold: “To celebrate life, and to reclaim life where it’s being destroyed.” We can’t wait to share more with you about our personal projects for children in Third World slums, plus advocating for adoption! Stick with us, and we’d love you to learn alongside us. See you inside!
