Make-A-Wish Couple Announces Pregnancy
Their wedding wasn't supposed to happen. It was a miracle. So was the news we heard from this couple today!⠀
.⠀
Listen, I seriously had to shout out a loud "hallelujah" in the studio when we heard it!⠀
.⠀
This couple's portrait actually hangs over our fireplace at the studio. Many of you have seen it here, but didn't know the SPECTACULAR story and emotional significance of this art piece.⠀
.⠀
Savannah and Andrew's wedding was made possible by Make-A-Wish, one of the organizations we donate our services to. Andrew, who was diagnosed with cancer, had just one wish. A wish he shared with his high school sweetheart, Savannah -- that they would be married.⠀
.⠀
Savannah was at his side throughout the battle. At such young ages, their strength together had been tested, and their maturity and love (beyond their years) was proven again and again.⠀
.⠀
Since their wedding, Andrew's cancer has been in remission. But repercussions remained. This beautiful couple came to terms with the likelihood they may never have a child biologically.⠀
.⠀
Now (I'm teary-eyed as I write it), we're celebrating with them as they just announced Savannah is pregnant!! We cannot wait to see this beautiful baby, and we thank God for His gift of life and love!! (Hallelujah, right?!)⠀
