Kids Explore Restored 1912 Schoolhouse

Finally got to tour inside the restored Oconee County Central School House, originally built for grade schoolers in 1912. . I get my love of history (and storytelling) from my dad, and was glad my kiddos willingly stepped away from "Touch-A-Truck Day" at the park (see now in #mystory) to let me share this fascinating place with them... . They sang and danced on the stage of the upstairs auditorium, then sat in the original theater style seats for this #iPhoneonly portrait. .
