Jasmine Turns 13 - Our Daughter Is a Teenager Now!

I’m a few days late, but this girl turned THIRTEEN! Yes, we officially have a teenager in the house! Jasmine is still our little girl, but we’re admiring the young lady she’s already becoming, with her sense of style and independence she displays with her close group of friends. She thoughtfully looks to serve others in any way they need (especially if it involves cleaning or taking care of young kids), even during our travels visiting with other families. We are cherishing her sweetness—her homemade love notes and random kisses on the cheek always put a smile on our faces. Her goofy performances and silly jokes keep us entertained, and we pray they’ll last forever no matter how old she gets! Her love of reading has only grown more voracious. We love how she is filling her mind with ideas and showing great discernment. Don’t put a challenge in front of her unless you expect her to tackle it with real excellence, because she’s extremely driven and self-motivated. Whether it’s academic, climbing a mountain, or jumping a mountain bike, she pushed herself to do her best. You have a good head on your shoulders, Jasmine, and we are proud of you!
