From Competition Newbies to Image Judges

I remember when we entered our first print competition. We gathered our absolute BEST images, knowing for sure we’d win awards on our first go and blow the judges away…⠀ ⠀ Boy, were we wrong! None of our images even came close to meriting. 😆 But we listened to the judges’ feedback and learned a TON about what makes an image great. Since then, we’ve had several award-winning images and both of us have been judging image competitions for years.⠀ ⠀ Today we get to critique images at #wppi2021 for attendees who want to learn how improve their craft and curate their portfolio.
