Father-Daughter Portrait Before School Dance

Time for #fridayintroductions!⠀ .⠀ This pic is me and my daughter Jasmine. Actually, I should say "This is a portrait of my eldest daughter and me." I'm a grammar nazi. That's probably something you should know about me. I failed to mention that in past intros. Before my wife's and my photography business really took off, I was a high school English teacher.⠀ .⠀ My wife, Eileen (name within commas grammatically denotes exclusivity, by the way -- my one and only wifey!! Notice Jasmine's name is not set inside commas above; I have two daughters plus a son), took this shot just before we went to Jasmine's school dance. (Thanks for the portrait, @eileen_blume. xo)⠀ .⠀ It was the second school dance we've attended together. So much fun! Jazz gets a thrill because her friends all tell her the next day "You and your dad are SUCH good dancers!" Actually, we're just crazy and carefree. I fling and flip her tiny body all over the place, and she ends every twist in a sassy pose. :D⠀ .⠀ So our family, probably like yours, is busy. We big kids are professional photographers and speakers. (You may have met us at @rfwppi in Vegas or have seen our TED Talk, on our Website #linkinbio.)⠀ .⠀ But most important to us is creating a balanced and purposeful life! This year has been blessed, as we've prioritized weekly date nights for each of our children, date nights together, and one night to "Mamaw-sit" my grandmother while my parents get out.
