Excited for ShutterFest 2018 in St. Louis

Time for #ShutterFest2018! Who's joining @eileen_blume and me in St. Louis?!.. . I recall teaching at SF #1 several years ago; it started with just a few hundred photographers at a small hotel -- and Sal Cincotta's vision for a hands-on event like no other (props, Sal), where approachable teachers would remain in the trenches beside their students all the time. We are ALL students after all; always will be. . The spirit of his idea resonated with us deeply. (We love the relationships made here!) Apparently it resonated with others, too... . I'm proud to have watched this movement grow year after year, into the strangely operational behemoth of controlled chaos it is today. It literally has changed the direction of events in our industry. But this -- the original #ShutterFest -- is an experience every photographer should try once.. and will probably return to again and again. See you there soon! 📷 @ivytowler . . . . . .
