Patience Pays Off for 'Funky Town' Dresser

Sometimes furniture pieces just have to wait for the right buyer! It doesn’t mean you need to drop your prices like crazy, doubt yourself, or give up. It just means that it’s buyer hasn’t seen your piece yet. Obviously, if there are things that you know you could have done better and it hasn’t sold for a while (change hardware, restage, take better pictures, write a better listing, share the listing in more places, or possibly even refinish), then do that thing. But if you feel 100% confident in your piece, own it, and market it. It will sell when the right buyer comes along. ⠀ ⠀ Our “Funky Town” dresser isn’t for everyone. And even though we received the most comments and likes on our listing than any other furniture flip before, no one bought her...for 31 days! And then someone venmo’d us the full payment one day to make sure we wouldn’t sell it to anyone else before they could come get it. And now Funky Town is now happily in her new home where she is cherished and adored! Don’t give up! Stand by your work! UPDATE: For those of you who asked, this is Sherwin Williams Midnight Moscow (1 gallon) plus 1 ounce of black. The original moscow midnight was a little too bright for us.
