DIY Mid-Century Modern Legs for Nightstands

Can we just talk about these legs real quick? We were going for a mid century modern feel. Four mcm angled legs cost at least $20. So $40 for all the legs and let’s be real, these homemade, refinished nightstands will not sell for top dollar. So instead of $40, I spent $3.50 for an 8 foot piece of 2x2 oak. From there, I played with my miter saw to get the exact angle of the legs I wanted and experimented with tapering each leg. 30 minutes and $4 later, I had a pretty decent set of mcm style legs for these little nightstands. Mission accomplished on a budget. I will definitely be using this technique again on other furniture!
