A Year of Challenges and Growth in Faith

2024 has by far been the most wild year of my life. We’ve been through Covid, horrible allergies, the stomach flu, and now this. New members have been added to our household. We’ve traveled across Japan and I had the most amazing girls’ trip with my internet-turned-real-life besties. Through all the highs and lows, the best part of 2024 has been growing closer to God than I’ve ever been! This year, I’ve learned to hear his voice and that, my friends, changes everything! It provides unimaginable peace, ridiculous joy, and hope even when your situation looks bleak. So even when things were uncertain and my husband thought he would never be going home again, we were praising God. Because his plan is better than ANYTHING…even if it is painful. I don’t expect you to understand if you’ve never felt God’s presence, but he truly gives a peace that surpasses all understanding.
