$30 Dresser Transformed into $360 Profit

My mom found this dresser for $30 on Facebook Marketplace. We had no idea it was an RWay dresser, we couldn't even tell what kind of condition it was in. There was a single, blurry, cropped picture in the listing, but my mom just had a feeling about it. (I wish we had saved a screenshot of the original listing, haha!) Well, it was in extremely rough condition, but it had a great shape and good bones. We ran into several problems, but learned a ton about the need to just keep sanding and to use bondo for those heavy gouges (not wood filler that shrinks). We painted the body, waxed the wood drawers, added some simple handles, and voila. We had a full offer of $450, but we had already agreed to sell it to somebody else an hour earlier who was obsessed with it, but only had $360 to spend. And we're good to our word! People over profit!⠀ ⠀
