Visit to Noah's Ark Animal Rescue

Road trip to Noah’s Ark animal rescue... our fourth since moving here! I guess Georgians have enough land to rescue ;). The highlight was the freely wandering peacocks who are currently molting! And a good lesson on what rescue means - during drug raids, medical retirees, auctioned, and old zoos. And “not nice enough for pictures”? —- its a tiger! For pictures!? And where long lasting parrots go to live... And... did you know that castrated male lions don’t grow a mane? Yea that brought some fun discussion of what that meant ;). That and all the animals who wanted to wave their genitalia at my children? Don’t know what was going on today... more lessons! Don’t know how many other people were listening. Ha!
