Visit to Ernest Hemingway's Key West Home

We met “Papa” Ernest Hemingway at his house, learned about his life, saw his writing space, and now understand a bit more about this famous man. My oldest reads Old Man and the Sea next year, so I figured it was only fitting for her to see his Key West house. . The surrounding tropical gardens are full of more than fifty of the descendants of his original polydactyl cat, and the view is lovely of the lighthouse and Royal Poinciana trees. . Despite his drunkenness and love of women, he seems like a pretty remarkable man who found a pretty remarkable house. 🤓
