Visit the Stunning Library of Congress in Washington DC

Don’t miss this treasure on you DC trip! It’s perhaps the most beautiful Washington DC building… and overlooked by so many. The Library of Congress is right across the street from the Capitol Building. And free. And less crowded. And gorgeous. . 🔸Look down into the reading room - can’t go in! 😢 🔸See the only intact Gutenberg Bible in the US 🔸Walk through Thomas Jefferson’s book collection 🔸Downstairs area specifically for kids. And a scavenger hunt to get keep them busy as you wander. 👉👉And did you see that building?! . While telling a friend to add the Library of Congress to her winter family vacation, I couldn’t find it on my feed. So I fixed that problem!😁 Go to the Library or Congress. Reserve a time slot online. It’s pretty much my top DC recommendation! They run through this building in the movie National Treasure if you want to introduce the kids beforehand.
