Visit the Oklahoma State Capitol

Always go to the state Capitol building. They’re open to the public, free to wander, beautifully designed, and important! This is Oklahoma’s. The Oklahoma Capitol is the only one in the nation with a working oil rig on its land, and it has a giant Native American statue at the very top. Can’t get any more Oklahoma than that. Learn history with murals and statues. Discuss the Senate vs House. Be amazed at the architecture and paint. And just explore. I think this is a Capitol #3 for us. Need to add more!
