Reclaiming Wonders
Two young boys with blonde hair are crouched on the ground, intently focused on a small fire pit filled with sticks and twigs. The scene takes place in an outdoor setting, surrounded by lush green grass. The boys are wearing casual clothes, one in a light green shirt and the other in a light blue shirt. They appear to be engaged in building and tending to the small fire, perhaps as part of an outdoor learning or play activity. The image conveys a sense of childhood wonder, exploration, and hands-on learning through natural elements.

Unschooling Life: A Relaxed Day of Learning and Play

Insider look into my unschool life on this day, check out my stories and see the craziness they got into. Child-led learning all the way. . . I hope my crazy real-life day encourages you to sit back and just watch the learning unfold without you. Sometimes the best days are the ones where you rest and trust that even these count. Jesus has this. Just trust. . . I’ve heard this lately... . . Other people: “Are you done with school?” Me: “We never started?” 😂 —- Sometimes said, Sometimes only thought. . . Our homeschool group has been over since mid-April and extra-curriculars are over. But normal life is still carrying on. We still read and play and create and adventure and live life together. Relaxed pace for us all. . . Of note: I read my book in bed until 8:30ish. Ate too many cookies. Drank coke. Kids made their own lunch. No math was done. Haven’t seen anyone with a book - yet. But great things happened and giggles happened and one kid gave me a Morse-code note declaring her readiness to be baptized🥰 . . Good day.
