Science Festival Fun at Emory University

#atlantasciencefestival2019 brought us to Emory for some chemistry and physics fun with their students and staff. I don’t remember ever being as excited about playing with my field of study as these grad students were. Just big kids with big expensive toys. The highlight for all was the planetarium show and anything with liquid nitrogen, of course. We made ice cream and bouncy balls, vibrated frequencies with corn, watched sound waves in fire, made a laser maze, and electrocuted my kids. All in the name of science. And three hours later, sleepy kids drove home...
