Scenic Stirling and Wallace Monument

#stirlingscotland itself is a lovely town. Small enough to wander. We dropped off our bags at #willywallacehostel and took off toward the castle... which is at the top of the hill like Edinburgh. Hiked to both. But unlike Edinburgh, outside the small city, you are surrounded by lovely green pastures and farms. The first picture shows the Wallace monument off in the distance... I need to redo my Braveheart knowledge when the trip is over... if we had still had our car, there would have been lots more to do but not enough time!
