Peaceful Reading Nap

By some magical intervention, I ended up sharing a hotel room with only my eldest for Christmas in Oklahoma while the hubs had the boys and K slept with her little cousin. I asked her if we needed to have bonding time.. talk about anything. She giggled. Said no. And lay down with her book. And I asked myself what my Mom and I would do in this situation. Probably the same. Introducing my kid to The Unwanteds while I read book six on Scribd on my phone. And, honestly, I fell asleep. I don’t know what time she put her book light up ;)
