Reclaiming Wonders
A young boy with short blond hair is standing in what appears to be a classroom. He is wearing a red and black long-sleeved shirt with an image of various characters from the Star Wars franchise printed on it. The boy has a focused expression on his face as he holds something in his hands, possibly a small object or toy. The background shows a whiteboard with various mathematical equations and patterns written on it, indicating it is likely a math or science classroom. To the side, there are shelves with books and other educational materials.

Overcoming Shyness Through Weekly Presentations

And one of the reasons I love #classicalconversations ? Because every week, shy boys, who would otherwise grow up to stay the same, are put in front of their group of friends to give presentations. 24 times a year. Until sixth grade. Then moving into bigger presentations. He may grumble at times, but I think getting to stand in front of his peers and tell them about his science project or trip to the beach or how to make a fire or why he loves Van Gogh may just be the best thing he does that week. Who knows what his future holds, but, hopefully, every year he will be less afraid of this weekly time than he was previously.
