Reclaiming Wonders
The image depicts a cluster of small crustaceans, likely crabs or crab-like creatures, partially buried in sand. Their delicate, translucent bodies and spindly legs are visible against the pale beige backdrop of the sandy surface. These tiny creatures appear to have been recently uncovered or unearthed, perhaps during a nighttime beachcombing excursion.

Nighttime Crab Hunting on the Beach

Our last night in Florida, we told the kids we would go to the beach after dark looking for jelly fish. So dance italian supper and ice cream done, we took off. After my never shy daughter walked up to strangers and asked them what they were doing with flashlights, we set off in our own crab hunt. Still not sure what kind they were, Copper proudly showed off his crab catching skills by scooping then up out of the sand. They grumbled about nature walks but I think this topped them. And, as brainwashed as they are, they wanted to go home and draw them... ;)
