Nature's Fallen Beauty

#botanybayplantation free afternoon entertainment at the beach. The beach is eroding rapidly meaning the salt water kills and roots and erodes the salt so giant oak and palm trees fall down. Since it’s a natural preserve, they let them lie. Which makes for awesome tree climbing. And no shell gathering :(. So we admire and decorate and see what others have done with their treasures. The hubby declared it his favorite adventure so far. Fascinating geography lesson about erosion, the effect of hurricanes and winds, and natural destruction that scan make a different beauty. And those tree roots are awesome. Thankful for beach volunteers who take the time to answer our never ending questions... and even run after us with a website for further research!
