Making Nature Fun for Kids with Botanical Gardens

Struggling to get the kids out of the house during the summer? You just need to add some magic! 🌳⛲️🌺 My favorite way to get the kids (and myself) out of the house and exploring nature is by visiting botanical gardens on our family road trips… especially when the gardens have fabulous kid areas. 👉👉You don’t have to blazing a mountain trail or gathering nature specimens in the woods for it to count as good summer family time outside. All you have to do is show up and let the gardens do the work. Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville has not only a little fairy, train garden, but many areas for kids to discover. Fountains. Playful sculptures. Hidden paths. Tunnels to crawl. Bridges to cross. And all the plants and flowers. 🌟And once you snag a membership to one garden in the American Horticultural Society (AHS), you get free entrance to the more than 300 other gardens around the US. 🌟 Extra Mom Hint: You can leave after an hour and it didn’t cost you anything if you have a reciprocal membership. 🎉🥳 . . ⚠️Yes. They will still complain. I can’t fix that. But maybe they’ll forget to whine when they’re frolicking. 😂 . . . 👉DM me if you want to save money on gardens and memberships. It’s the top way I save on our family travels! . . . @cheekwood @nashvilletn @nashvilleguru @visitfranklintn @tnvacation
