Reclaiming Wonders
The image is a collection of four photographs depicting a family's visit to a historic plantation home and inn called Mount Locust. The first photograph shows a man holding a young child, likely his son or daughter, in front of a rustic wooden house with a porch, surrounded by trees and a grassy field. The second photograph captures the child walking on a wooden deck or patio area, with a covered shelter or pavilion visible in the background. The third photograph offers an interior view of what appears to be a bedroom or living area within the historic home, featuring a bed, a table, and a fireplace. The fourth photograph shows a young child, presumably the same child from the other photographs, standing in a wooded area, wearing a red hooded jacket and facing away from the camera.

Mount Locust historic home served as an inn for travelers along the Trace. It was a plantation home still showing some aspects of their life including the slave cemetery, dinner bell (which they all had to ring), rooms still set up, and lots of moss for the kids to gather. Meg said later, "This whole trip has been about history!" It ain't over for awhile kid.
