Reclaiming Wonders
The image shows two young boys standing behind a glass or transparent barrier, as if looking at exhibits. In front of them, on a flat surface, are two large, dark rocks or meteorites. The background behind the boys is slightly blurred, but appears to show some exhibits or displays related to space or astronomy. The image has a slightly grainy or vintage quality.

Family Night at the Observatory

Note to self: early summer is not the time to drive out for star viewing. Mosquitoes and late sunset. We identified some through our telescope and then drove over to the observatory. Although we didn't pay for telescope use, we looked at the little exhibits complete with meteorites. It was a great review for all our Classical Conversations memory work for the year. It was very crowded, but we did get to look in a nice older gentleman a telescope of Jupiter. By the way, Cooper has declared this park to be the site of his next birthday adventure. Family be warned.
