Reclaiming Wonders
A family of four, consisting of a father figure and three young daughters, are pictured indoors with American flags hanging in the background, seemingly celebrating a patriotic occasion. The father wears a red sombrero and an orange and purple poncho, representing a stereotypical Mexican outlaw costume. The eldest daughter, with long blonde hair, dons a blue dress with a floral pattern, portraying a Polynesian princess. The middle daughter wears a purple outfit adorned with sequins, resembling a Turkish gypsy belly dancer. The youngest daughter is dressed in a white outfit, possibly meant to depict a Greek man or figure from ancient Greece. The family members are smiling and embracing the playful, cultural representations.

Family Cultural Costumes

For the Baggett family Olympics today, I brought 4 country representatives- in all their stereotypical glory. A Mexican outlaw, Polynesian princess, Turkish gypsy belly dancer, and Greek man. They wore them for a whole thirty minutes for Nanny to parade them around the backyard before the games began.
