Reclaiming Wonders
A lively family group of five people is captured in a selfie photo taken from a low angle, with a towering red metal structure resembling the Eiffel Tower in the background. The group consists of three adults, two with long blonde hair, and two young boys. They are all smiling joyfully, with the woman in the center beaming radiantly. One of the adults, a woman with piercings and sunglasses, is reaching up towards the camera, while another woman and a young boy are making playful expressions. The group appears to be enjoying a fun family outing at what seems to be a quirky roadside attraction or theme park called the 'Eiffel Tower' in Paris, Texas.

Embracing Local Adventures: Finding Joy in Nearby Gems

Repeat after me… 💫I do not have to explore distant lands to have an amazing family trip. 💫I do not have to go broke to give them some amazing childhood memories. 💫I am not the only person not traveling to Iceland…. seriously. It feels like it, right? 😂 With our family, 90% of our travel time has been spent exploring near our house: historic places, local museums, national parks, and state parks. Many of those were free! It's not the distance or the cost that makes trips worthwhile; it's the attitude that makes you appreciate the time together. Don’t put off the right here because you’re too busy dreaming about Europe… or Iceland 😉 And definitely take the time in your road trip to stop at the weird and get the picture! 👉What’s the best “boring” place you’ve discovered? Let’s be lame together 😂 📸Eiffel Tower; Paris (Texas 😉); May 2022
