Child Rescues Stranded Fish

Nature rescuers trying to figure out next plan of action. In our drainage area, the water had receded enough to strand some big fish from the lake. Bass? Like 1.5 foot long monsters. So after seeing other fish carcasses (they were pretty grossed out by the maggot lesson ;) ), we had to try to rescue them. Back to the house with equipment only to see that the fish were not longer within touching distance. I finally convinced them they could wait two days for Pop to arrive with his "big boots" and "big strong muscles"- kid words of course. Oh the hero! We will see. Pop may just noodle them out and fry them up! ;) you gotta admire their dedication.
