Boy and His Dog: A Heartwarming Bond

Our dog rings a bell to go potty. For real! I put a jingle bell on the front door and “trained” her to hit it with her nose if she needs to go out. My friend suggested it and we were skeptical —- but genius!! Thanks @hharvey01 ! . . Jenny the Shepherd-Something has been a great addition to the family. I should have let the kid get a dog months ago I guess... He’s been fully responsible for putting her in her crate and taking her outside if needed and feeding... All of it. He was already a pretty responsible kid but watching him with his dog has been great to watch. . . She does think herself super cute and wants you to rub her belly and eats ALL DAY LONG. Jenny is so vocal and wants to be in tight places to be cozy. I’ve never been around a shepherd... Is this normal?! . . And boy and his dog. They needed each other. And I’m totally counting it as homeschool life lessons BTW ;)
