Reclaiming Wonders
The image depicts a striking geological formation of basalt columns rising vertically from the ground, creating a towering cliff-like structure. The columnar basalt formation showcases a remarkable hexagonal pattern, with the individual columns tightly packed together, resembling a giant honeycomb or organ pipe structure. The columns are dark in color, suggesting they are composed of hardened volcanic rock. The basalt formation stands in stark contrast against the bright blue sky, creating a dramatic and visually striking scene. Evergreen trees surround the base of the formation, providing a natural backdrop. Small boulders and rubble lie scattered in the foreground, hinting at the rugged and untamed nature of the environment. The scene exudes a sense of raw, untamed beauty and the awe-inspiring power of nature's forces.

Basalt Cliff Spelunking Adventure

When your husband yells back and asks how I feel about him trying spelunking... I sure wished he left the keys with me! Fun Dad again. Climbing the basalt cliff. Cool hexagons rocks that might have cause a little cave structure. He didn't go down. Seems the big kids talked him out of it! And I have new respect for ravens... those things are massive. I watched them while the five children tried to break appendages. No children were harmed ;) and memories were made. (and Cooper's backpack was left ;(. )
