Reclaiming Wonders
The image depicts a cluttered pile of various clothing items on what appears to be a bed or sofa. The pile consists of several jackets, sweaters, and other garments in various colors and patterns, including plaid, solid colors, and camouflage prints. The clothing items seem to be made of different fabrics, such as wool, cotton, and synthetic materials. Some of the garments are crumpled or folded, while others are loosely draped over the pile. The overall scene suggests a disorganized collection of clothes, possibly freshly laundered or recently removed from storage.

Appreciating a Dryer After Weeks Without One

This may just look like a pile of laundry, but to me, it the first time I’ve had a dryer in three weeks. We didn’t know this was standard until we got to Scotland. All the apartments had tiny washers in the kitchen ... one had a dryer setting on the tiny washer but would only do half of the tiny load dry and only if you ran it through twice. So for three weeks, I had wet clothes strewn about. Sometimes on a drying rack if they had one. I never knew I’d be excited about a drying rack! Ps: When you book an Airbnb, don’t assume that by clicking washer, you automatically get a dryer. Rookie mistake. And bring clothes pins when you travel... For those of you who travel often, is this standard throughout all of Europe?
