The Importance of Extra Hiking Socks
Send this to to your hiking buddy whose feet are always cold! (there’s always one 🙃)
There are actually SO many reasons to bring extra hiking socks
The biggest reason is wet feet. Whether its rain, a puddle, or a not-so-frozen-anymore lake you step in (ahem me yesterday), keeping your feet warm & dry is essential for feeling comfortable and preventing blisters and even frostbite.
And this may be an unpopular opinion but: changing socks after a hike feels 1000x better than changing shoes. So if you don’t need them for wet feet on the trail, try changing your socks afterwards anyways (trust me!)
